Paradoxical Frog: There are many such creatures found in the world, which are very strange, one of them is the Paradoxical Frog. Most organisms in the world are small to begin with and Adults become bigger as they grow, but this is not the case with this frog. In its body, the reverse of development, Ganga flows. This creature starts out as a large tadpole, but as it grows into adulthood it shrinks into a small frog. Therefore it is also known as shrinking frog.
According to the report of Live Science, Paradoxical Frog is a very strange creature, whose scientific name is Pseudis paradoxa. These frogs eat insects and are found in Northern South America and Trinidad.

Why is this frog amazing?
This species of frogs is very unusual, because as their age increases, they become smaller in size. They are especially larger in the larval stage than in the adult stage. You will be surprised to know that in the initial stage their size is three to four times larger than the adult size.

In the larval stage, their size is up to 9 inches (22 cm), but by the time they become adults, their length reduces to 3 inches (8 cm). As young frogs, paradoxical frogs eat plants. When they grow up, they learn to hunt insects at the bottom of lakes and rivers.
How do they get so big?
A study published in The Herpetological Journal in 2009 reported that the growth rate of tadpoles is similar to that of other species, but paradoxical frogs continue to grow and develop. During metamorphosis, these tadpoles shrink into frogs that are only a quarter to a third of their former length. Therefore this frog is considered one of the miracles of nature.
